Harney & Sons Fine Teas have a tremendous following for their more than 300 excellent teas. Owned and operated by descendents of the company’s founder, John Harney, the business is very much a family affair. Tea connoisseurs and enthusiasts welcome the arrival of the mail order catalog and frequently order many hundreds of dollars worth of teas, or arrive at the Harney stores with numerous post-it notes marking teas they want to try. Ashworth Creative designed and wrote all of the content and worked the dual themes of “Teatime is Anytime” and “Tea for Two,” to unfold throughout the book. Harney & Sons have begun growing their own hemp and have launched The Hemp Division CBD elixirs and tinctures as well as other wellness products that are distinguished by the fact that the Harney family have tremendous skills in blending, flavoring and packaging their products. This year’s catalog also encompassed a new line of shelf-stable products called the Harney Pantry. Making this catalog flow elegantly over 82 pages is a challenge that Ashworth Creative welcomes and which we enjoy as a wonderful collaboration with our clients.
The photography is largely produced in-house by Alex Harney and the project is managed by Emeric Harney. On the client side, overall project supervision falls to Mike Harney and Paul Harney. At Ashworth Creative the catalog is designed by Isaac Ashworth, Creative Director and written and wrangled by Phillippa Ewing, Marketing Strategist.
