The Phoenix executed a rebranding campaign for Diné Development Corporation (DDC). Outputs of the rebrand process included a new brand identity, visual representation, logo, website and branded video.
Inspired by their legacy, Diné Development Corporation (DDC) is rooted in our commitment to the Navajo Nation. They strive to create sustainable economic prosperity to overcome the Nation’s challenges and ensure the growth and empowerment of its People for future generations.
DDC seized the opportunity to evolve their current brand to match their ambitions. The Phoenix facilitated a successful Brand Development session and Strategic Planning workshop with key stakeholders of the Navajo-owned organization. The outputs of these sessions included the establishment of the organization’s Vision, Mission and Goals. As a result of the Brand Development and Strategic work, The Phoenix developed the Brand’s identity, visual representation and additional brand assets.
The Phoenix designed a new logo that is intended to honor the Navajo legacy while also looking toward the future. The logo incorporates simple yet refined geometric shapes to create a brand mark that forms a forward arrow that starts the formation of the organization acronym. The small triangles forming the forward arrow are inspired by traditional Navajo weaving and are meant to honor the Diné or Navajo people. The logo also leverages the Brand’s rich color palette to convey boldness, passion, leadership and strength.
The website strategy is centered in providing a unique and impactful UX, a modern UI, and an overall creative design thematic and page layouts that showcase the brand as a premiere organization in the government contracting space. The Phoenix designers leveraged modern, dynamic design cues, features and movement to make the DDC website compelling.
To unveil the new DDC brand identity, The Phoenix created a branded video that tells the history of their organization, who they serve and their vision for the future. The video is intended to galvanize support and serve as a point of pride for their stakeholders and employees as they move forward with their new brand identity.
