The Warmth of Yamal exhibition addresses the past, present, and future of industry, ecology, ethnography, and local culture of the indigenous people and landscape of the Yamal Peninsula in the Arctic. The spatial design envelops the visitor in a magical environment illuminated by spheres telling the stories of the region. Utilizing large-scale mixed-media models, multimedia and physical and digital interactives, the exhibit narrative immerses visitors in a vivid, multi-layered, story of the region.
