Research Perspectives is a twice-yearly digital publication written and designed entirely in-house at the IMF, but accessible and appealing to a broader external audience with an interest in economics. Each issue showcases the most topical IMF research in a modern, magazine-style presentation, with every cover and article featuring illustrations and bespoke graphics designed to engage an audience and reflect the complexity of the topics at hand. Our 2020 Research Perspectives issues were our first all-remote editions, entirely focused on the impact that the pandemic was having on economies across the world with far-reaching discussions on the path(s) forward.
