Vancouver Island North Tourism (VINT) reached out to Array to create a communications campaign to raise awareness of the importance of sustainable/low impact tourism on Vancouver Island, BC. We kicked off the campaign by creating a range of memorable, catchy taglines to entice visitors to sign the “North Island Wild Pledge.” A custom, single-page website houses campaign materials, provides educational content on how to practice sustainable tourism and serves as a platform for visitors to engage with the campaign and take the pledge. Taking inspiration from the VINT logo, we created a distinct, artisan-like slogan logo that balances geometric shapes with soft, organic textures and natural elements from Vancouver Island, such as mountains, ocean, trees, and sun. We also developed a collection of digital ads, social media assets, and a stakeholder toolkit that raise awareness of the campaign, encourage stakeholder engagement and entice the public to take notice of the campaign.
