The Matson Mill brand marries the site’s history of textile production with a distinctly modern style. Graphic elements inspired by weaving motifs are intended to celebrate the history of the property’s location and evoke the concept of being “woven into the riverside.” On the website, the woven motifs animate in a way that is evocative of both weaving and flowing water. The elegant navy, rich red and muted gold color palette nods to the river while picking up cues from the interior design of the property itself.
