The Phoenix was selected to provide Brand Development and Strategic Planning services along with the design and implementation of the Visual Representation for Peapod Digital Labs’ group of ten Inclusion Networks. Peapod Digital Labs (PDL) is the ecommerce engine of Ahold Delhaize USA, one of the nation’s largest grocery retail groups. The Inclusion Networks program is a key component of Peapod Digital Labs’ Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEI&B) initiative.

The Phoenix always approaches Brand Strategy from the same vantage point, to ensure our clients maximize relevance to customers and stakeholders, inspire loyalty and convey the ethos of their Brand. For each of the ten Inclusion Networks, The Phoenix conducted our patented Brand Development process which yielded valuable insights that informed the work and ongoing opportunities. The Brand Strategy Workshops helped to establish the Vision, Mission, and Visual Representation for each of the Inclusion Networks.

The Phoenix team worked in collaboration with key stakeholders of each individual Network to develop the visual identity, including color palette and iconography as well as the naming for each of the company’s DEI&B initiatives.

Each of the logos include a distinctive yet consistent shape that connects the initiative, and a unique icon and color palette that align with each distinct Vision and Mission.

Additionally, The Phoenix team worked closely alongside key internal stakeholders to establish the branding packages for the individual Inclusion Networks. Utilizing the system created for the overarching program as the foundation, our design team developed branding to capture the essence and the uniqueness of each individual group.
