In 2022, The Ritz-Carlton collaborated with Louis-Nicolas Darbon as the official Artist Partner of the brand. As a talented artist and influencer with a large social following, experience in content creation, and a focus on luxury, he was a perfect fit.
Louis-Nicolas began his work with The Ritz-Carlton in 2021, with a European tour where he created an original art piece at each location. In 2022, Louis-Nicolas Darbon was named the official Artist Partner of The Ritz-Carlton — this time creating bespoke art for The Ritz-Carlton brand’s continuing partnership with Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 Team. The art created from the partnership has been shared across social and digital, and auctioned off in partnership with Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula One Team’s charity with Lewis Hamilton.
Louis’ largest art activations revolved around the Miami Grand Prix and the Hungarian Grand Prix. In Miami, Louis customized specially wrapped Mercedes VIP transport cars with his own Ritz-Carlton-inspired motifs and details. For the Hungarian Grand Prix, Louis unveiled a mural on the side of The Ritz-Carlton, Budapest, creating a unique focal point for racing fans to discover outside of the track. The experiences were all captured through short, cinematic video for use across social media, and deeper coverage on our digital platforms and Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula One Team’s channels.
