Retail Business Services (RBS) is the services company of Ahold Delhaize USA, providing services to five East Coast grocery brands: Food Lion, The GIANT Company, Giant Food, Hannaford and Stop & Shop. RBS provides innovative solutions by leveraging scale and expertise so its partners can focus on building great local brands. As a testament of RBS’ pursuit of innovation, the company was recently recognized as No. 25 of the Top 100 Best Workplaces for Innovators by Fast Company.
To support Retail Business in revitalizing its brand identity, Phoenix Lifestyle Marketing Group was chosen to develop content, User Experience (UX) and User Interface (UI) strategy, creative design thematic and page layouts for the company’s new website.
During the planning phase, careful consideration was given to create a site that was easy for users to navigate. It clearly highlights the different sections, provides opportunities to interact and learn more about the company, and invites potential associates to find and apply for open positions and begin an exciting career. Given how important promoting a Culture of Belonging is for RBS, an entire section is dedicated to spotlighting the company’s efforts in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion and sharing their commitment to improving the communities they serve.
The foundation of the design leveraged brand cues that are the result of The Phoenix’s deep knowledge of the company, the Brand Guidelines developed by The Phoenix in 2021, and powerful visuals of actual associates and retail innovations that demonstrate the company culture and values.
