Yamamoto was honored and excited to be asked to develop the theme for The Show, AdFed Minnesota’s local creative competition held annually in early March.
Because of COVID-19, the event had been a 100% virtual event the previous two years, so AdFed and Yamamoto were committed to bringing back an in-person event in 2022.
Yamamoto developed a theme that was a commiseration of the “wave of emotions” the advertising and marketing community had been experiencing the previous two years in a fun, retro tongue-in-cheek campaign that encouraged ad people to come out of their shells and enjoy an evening with friends. Hence, “The Show – and whole lot of emotions” theme was born!
As a bonus to this effort, this 2022 event raised more money in the history of the event which enabled AdFed MN to continue supporting their ongoing programs, plus new ones!
Among many assets created by Yamamoto for this event, this video was played at the beginning of the event as the kickoff to the evening.
