For this affordable, two-building housing project in the vibrant Arlandria-Chirilagua community, we ideated names and created a unique brand identity. To honor the community’s heritage and roots, the names were chosen based on Náhuat, a native Central American language. Sansé means 'one,' which represents the idea that the whole is greater than the sum of its parts and that the community is stronger when individuals come together. Naja means 'me,' and we interpret it as a call to action for individuals to think about what they can contribute to their community. The brand identity design uses warm terra color hues that complement the project's visual identity and evoke a sense of warmth, hospitality, and connection. The logo is simple and memorable, with bold typography and a circular shape that represents unity and togetherness. The visual identity is used consistently across all project materials, including signage, marketing, and the website, to create a cohesive and recognizable brand image.
