Good Day New York with Rosanna Scotto recently invited bestselling, award-inning Rizzoli author, Max Tucci to join host Rosanna Scotto to discuss his new cookbook, The Delmonico Way; Sublime Entertaining and Legendary Recipes from The Restaurant That Made New York! published by Rizzoli New York.

Rosanna and Max gleefully pack in an abundance of culinary information, they discuss Delmonico's, America's first fine-dining restaurant, family history, food history, and recipes from Max's cookbook, including Marylin Monroe's favorite 'Broiled Grapefruit' and the uber-popular Negroni, Max's twist a non-alcoholic version. In addition, Max performs an on-air cooking presentation of Marlene Dietrich's classic 'Cherries Jubilee'. Max discusses other historic classic recipes in his cookbook such as Baked Alaksa, Delmonico Steak, and Oysters Rockefeller.

The wonderfully produced segment features historic photographs of old New York, glamorous photos of Delmonico's notable patrons, such as Eva Gabor, Red Buttons, Cindy Adams, Gypsy Rose Lee, and legendary recipes from the Max's cookbook. Scotto and Tucci discuss Delmonico's closure during the pandemic and how Max wrote the book to teach his readers how to take cooking and entertaining at home one step further, known as "The Delmonico Way." Good Day New York is a morning show airing on WNYW Fox 5 (channel 5), hosted by Rosanna Scotto and Bianca Peters. It is the first morning newscast to air on a Fox-owned station, having launched on August 1, 1988. The program broadcasts each weekday morning from 4:30 to 10 a.m. Eastern Time. The 4:30–7 a.m. portion is a general news/traffic/weather format. The 7-9 a.m. portion features news, traffic and weather, and incorporates entertainment news. The 9-10 a.m. hour addition is entertainment segments including celebrity interviews, politicians etc., as well as feature segments, food, fashion and more.
