Curiously is all about answering questions that people ask themselves, like what is it like to get high with your mom or what does a morning inside a Chicago pizza joint look like? We created such content, because we were wondering that, too.
The goal was to design a brand that was fun and intriguing, but not exclusively masculine or feminine. This brand is for everyone. The logotype has a funky and almost whimsical vibe, while the overall color palette of deep navy and oatmeal is very neutral so the video content can do the talking. The iconography adds a playfulness to the brand and can be used in a variety of ways.
The font Briston is used for the logotype and the standalone tagline, which contributes to the fun and playful vibe of the brand. Hepta Slab is used for all other text to keep a very simple and neutral look to the rest of the design and video elements.
This branding is applied across several form factors, but is especially utilized for social media and video production. These brand elements are added to all of the Curiously video content that gets posted on YouTube and Instagram Reels, solidifying the brand recognition.
