Miami Beach has a problem: it’s a multi-dimensional destination suffering from a one-dimensional perception.

Across the country (and arguably the world), Miami Beach has historically been known as a destination for “weekend warriors”, spring-breakers, and bride and grooms-to-be, a place to let loose, break rules, bask in the sun and not much else.

The reality is that Miami Beach is an incredibly multifaceted city offering far more than most tourists imagine. From its metropolitan city vibes rich with culture, to stunning beaches that run the length of the island, it’s a destination that is luxurious yet eclectic, booming with innovation yet robust in heritage. And with top-notch hospitality and restaurants, strong business and community development, forward-thinking sustainability initiatives, and impressive events and conventions – it’s hard to conceptualize a place with more to offer.

The “Find Your Wave” campaign gave potential visitors a glimpse into all the different experiences they could enjoy during their visit to Miami Beach. The visually stunning campaign dramatized Miami Beach as an experience that was multidimensional, unexpected and that enriches them personally and elevates their lives.

The campaign targeted four distinct groups of travelers: the domestic leisure traveler, the meeting planner who organizes events and conventions, prospective business who would consider moving, and prospective and current Miami Beach residents.

“Find Your Wave” showed these different groups that there is a lot more to Miami Beach than they imagine. Here you can find “your wave”, that groove and feeling that moves you and fulfills you whether you’re a casual traveler, businessperson or someone looking for a change of pace. Whoever you are and whatever you love to do, Miami Beach is the place where you will Find Your Wave.
