This is a truly multifunctional robust deck around our exclusive VMA sponsorship, and the 50th anniversary of hip-hop. This deck was a true victory in marrying the authenticity of the landmark 50th anniverary of this cultural phenomenon with the luster of the VMAs, while carefully spelling out exactly where and how a potential partner could fit in.
We utilized connective transitional animation and premium design langauge to establish the excitement and value of the opportunity, which was ultimately bought into by Bacardi.
After being sold in this deck evolved and was used to keep all internal and external teams aligned with the progress of this massive multi-deliverable program.
This deck became an unprecedented tool used to get concrete buy in from a multitude of audiences including Client, Agency, production teams and Talent.
The talent in particular (DJ Premier) said that they had turned down 30+ offers like this, but was excited to work with us BECAUSE the presentation design was so good. ‘These guys really get it.”, he said, which is crucial with a topic like hip-hop where authenticity is absolutely paramount in importance.
