The National Association of Elementary School Principals (NAESP) and National Association of Secondary School Principals (NASSP) are joining forces to host UNITED: The National Conference on School Leadership. Rooted in the belief that we are stronger together, this alliance offers a platform for school leaders at all levels to amplify their collective voice and learn from each other. Whether you’re seeking to connect, be inspired, or simply revitalize your leadership approach, UNITED serves as your one-stop destination, tailoring its programming to meet you where you are in your journey.
We were tasked with naming and branding this conference, which involved a creative and strategic approach. We know that a brand is much more than its logo—it's the heart and soul of the event. The goal was to create a brand that echoes a sense of community, a place where people can connect with peers, learn from top minds in education, and walk away with real strategies to boost their schools.
The name we chose, UNITED, is about coming together for a greater purpose. The connected N and I in the design represent forward motion and leadership, and the highlighted 'ED' gives a nod to the focus on education.
We put together a full style guide to make sure the brand stays consistent across all platforms. We also designed a suite of digital and print materials, and launched a microsite. This site is the go-to place for all the conference info and for attendees to sign up for what's set to be an enriching experience.
The outcome of our efforts is a timeless brand designed to make a memorable impact on members for years to come.
