The Veterans and Military Families (VMF) Audience Segment Signal 'A' is an icon created to give the AARP's VMF initiative an identifying feature that still strongly ties back to the AARP Master Brand. The ‘A’ appeals to the VMF audience, which is important for authenticity and the overall VMF mission to bring value to veterans and their families. More than 6 million veterans, active duty, and military families are AARP members, but we also serve and support the entire military community with free resources, timely information, and programming to help them through life's transitions.
Shown here is an assortment of materials created using the new Signal 'A.' When the new 'A' is used, the national AARP logo and aarp.org/veterans URL must also be included. This is to enforce the relationship between the audience segment, AARP, and the VMF initiative's mission and programming.
