We were tasked to craft an energetic, high impact showcase for Harley - Davidson's new addition to their Enthusiast Motorcycle Collection, the Fast Johnnie. Our goal was to make sure our viewers were not only able to see and understand the motorcycle as a product, but also experience what racing down a track on this bike would feel like. We built our narrative around a real life drag strip motorcycle racer, Eddie "Fast Eddie" Reed. We wanted to step into his head the moments right before he launches down the strip. We pushed for a kinetic handheld capture, authentic production design and aggressive editing, color grade and sound design choices as well as an original score that pushed the narrative forward while disrupting the traditional expectations of what a Harley - Davidson film should sound like.
