This is Racing. It's the immersive experience - the smell of the asphalt, the revving of engines, the thunderous roar of the crowd, and the unforgettable memories shared with loved ones. But behind this exhilarating experience lies a silent hero: the truck drivers. This is a celebration of the hard work and passion of Mack truck drivers. They are the backbone of NASCAR racing, transporting crews, cars and equipment to make a race day happen, week after week. Shot on location at the historic Darlington Speedway, our goal was to capture the pure energy that emanated from this racetrack. The buzz of thousands of people gathered to watch racers at the top of their game was palpable as soon as you stepped foot on the grounds. A mix of macro photography, wide compositions, abstracted competition footage and immersive sound design bring the track to life, capturing what it feels like to step into this world. A visceral experience that reminds us of why we love racing and celebrates the truckers that make racing possible.
