Having the ambition of offering a modernised take on the Assassin's Creed gameplay formula that had set a precedent in the late 2000s, we were asked to create a trailer exclusively from in-game capture for Assassin's Creed Mirage. By leveraging the expertise and passion of our multi talented team, we managed to create an exciting asset that encapsulated both the game’s exotic setting and characters and the subtleties of its various gameplay mechanics.
Our trailer focuses on the pillars of typical stealth-oriented Assassin’s Creed gameplay, such as “Infiltration”, “Parkour” and “Melee Combat”. Through clever and skillful use of marketing tools provided by the client, we managed to imagine, capture and edit together a simple narrative serving as a structural thread through which our protagonist, Basim, would showcase the gameplay mechanics and opportunities in various encounters.
Simple VO lines and cutscenes added at key moments in the edit also bring rhythm and structure to the asset, and ultimately elevate the whole gameplay trailer as piece that not only educate on the gameplay promises, but also excite the audience about the game’s main characters and appealing historical setting.
