Outfit Club aims to revolutionize the online shopping experience by addressing the challenges customers face in visualizing outfits, evaluating fit, and making confident purchasing decisions. While online shopping has the potential to empower customers with an array of choices and improved convenience, the current experience often falls short. Shoppers are left to imagine how a garment will truly suit them, leading to uncertainty and a lack of informed purchase decisions. This not only results in inconvenience for consumers but also contributes to unnecessary returns, driving up costs for businesses and having negative environmental implications.
Our design addressed users' uncertainty about clothing appearance and fit through a personalized avatar system. Our guided onboarding process assists users in creating avatars that mirror their appearance and body shape. Additionally, the feature allowing users to replace the model with their own avatar enables an intuitive evaluation of various outfits, much like looking in a mirror. By combining matured 3D avatar modeling and well-considered user experience design, we're reshaping the online shopping journey from one of uncertainty to empowerment.
