Sifton Properties is a leading residential and commercial property management organization that has been instrumental in shaping the Southwestern Ontario landscape with innovative developments that have advanced how people live and work. From rethinking their approach to residential rentals, to developing landmark commercial buildings, to creating Ontario’s first fully sustainable mixed-use community at West 5, Sifton has always been on the cutting edge of building successful communities.

It all began in 1923, when Harry Sifton built his first house at 587 Rosedale Avenue in London, where it still stands today. Many successful years have passed since then, and in 2023 Sifton celebrated their milestone 100th year of business. Sifton was seeking an impactful and memorable way to recognize this momentous occasion with a celebration that would last throughout the year and culminate in a large-scale signature event. The “100 Steps Forward” campaign was developed to help tell the Sifton story, speaking to both the past 100 years of growth and leadership as well as looking forward to the next 100 years. Leveraging the importance of progression and innovation throughout the company’s history, the campaign continued to build on the Sifton promise to make communities better places to live and grow.

The campaign design reflected the brand vision in a unique and celebratory way, creating festive ribbons of vibrant colour on a dark black background to bring the campaign to life. Welcoming the community was at the heart of this campaign, inviting the city and surrounding area to enjoy the various activities, promotions and contests happening all year long. Highlights included an augmented reality experience at the Sifton bog, an online digital scrapbook and a video blog series that captured stories from the Sifton family, customers and staff.

The campaign hub was a custom Sifton 100 microsite supported by digital and social media marketing which hosted information about various upcoming promotions, charitable initiatives, funds raised, and contest details. In July 2023, a three-day signature event held at West 5 was the pinnacle of the celebration including live performances, carnival rides, food trucks and a spectacular light show.
