In 2023, Coca-Cola Southwest Beverages (CCSWB) launched a comprehensive employee engagement strategy aimed at enhancing engagement, retention and corporate pride among frontline associates. A key element of this strategy was the introduction of quarterly Town Halls, which serve to celebrate the unique stories and contributions of frontline associates, referred to as Frontline Heroes.
What makes CCSWB’s town halls different from another company’s town halls? They are engaging and watchable whether you are a company associate or someone from outside.
The Town Hall campaign bridges generational gaps and ensures content remains relevant and accessible for all associates. Each event features a mix of company news, community initiatives and local features, creating an authentic narrative.
The Town Halls are not limited to the attendees at the host facility. These events are live streamed to all locations, allowing all associates to participate in real time, participate in a chat and cheer on presenters. The events are recorded with a live audience and aired company-wide throughout the quarter to ensure everyone has an opportunity to see it.
The communications team actively seeks feedback from focus groups to ensure the messages are genuine and relatable. As a result of these efforts, the Town Hall campaign has generated widespread participation and overwhelmingly positive feedback.
