About The Entry

The seamless fusion of the digital and paperless eras has shattered the traditional definition of graphic design, transforming it from two-dimensional static communication into a multidimensional, interactive, and dynamic medium. The design exhibition, View in Motion_International Motion Graphics, epitomizes this evolution, a theme that is also reflected in its poster. Through a distinctive visual design, this exhibition poster draws viewers into a world full of surprises and discoveries, where everything is brought to life in motion.
Revolving around the concept of "Shattering Static Views and Exploring the World in Motion", this poster design transforms a simple glass marble into a symbolic "Eye" through which viewers perceive the world differently. More than just as a focal point, this glass marble disrupts traditional perspectives, liberating viewers from static experiences and guiding them into a fantastical world in motion. Here, text elements are on longer static; instead, they appear refracted by the curved surface of the glass marble, creating mesmerizing distortions as if they're rolling and leaping within it. This conjures an illusion of depth and a stereoscopic perspective, immersing viewers in a surreal sensory experience. The black and red Möbius loops whirl rapidly within the glass marble, symbolizing infinite circulation and perpetual exploration. These loops, without beginning or end, echo the essence of motion graphic design, which is ever-evolving and unbound by conventional constraints.
The background text elements are no longer static decorations. Through a meticulous layout and a contrast between bold and blurred forms, these elements present a dynamic interplay across different angles, visual depths, and speeds. Such a fluid and seamless motion creates a cohesive yet multilayered visual system that not only reflects the core theme of motion graphic design but also invites viewers to discover the dynamic world captured within the poster.
