The RBC Canadian Open is Canada’s premier golf event, and the only PGA championship played north of the border. After months of negotiations, Magic announced a multi-year sports partnership with Golf Canada and became the official window & door partner of the 2024, 2025, and 2026 RBC Canadian Open. This innovative partnership marked the first time a Canadian home improvement brand partnered with Golf Canada and the PGA tour.
The partnership was announced in early April, giving the Magic creative team just six weeks to develop and execute the campaign's creative concept. From the outset, Magic knew they had to make a bold statement to stand out among global brands like Coca-Cola, Audi, and Hilton. They focused this campaign on their flagship product, the Magic Window Wall. It’s the only four-season rated folding glass door system in the world, featuring over 40 patented technologies and designed for Canada’s extreme climate. It looks, feels, and functions like a product from the future.
Through Magic’s activation, fans experienced golf in ways they never thought possible. At the 17th tee of the RBC Canadian Open, they placed a futuristic monochromatic structure featuring over 40 feet of our Magic Window Walls. ‘Magic on the Tee’ was designed and engineered at the course's highest point, creating the ultimate VIP viewing experience at one of Canada’s premier sporting events.
Magic’s ultimate goal was to leave a lasting impression on attendees by providing a unique and interactive activation on one of the course’s most picturesque holes. They wanted attendees to see their products firsthand and envision enhancing their lives at home with them. The picturesque views on the 17th hole offered the perfect setting to showcase the seamless transition between interior and exterior spaces achievable with their products.
