How do you bring six key mental health themes to life for a large fan expo during NBA All-Star Weekend? Our answer: the Mind Gym. In partnership with NBA Mind Health, we created an interactive space that used videos, custom-designed games, guided meditations, postcards, stickers, and a community activation to highlight the themes of: move, play, pause, learn, connect, and nourish. For example, at the “play” station, fans were given 30 seconds to draw a randomly assigned NBA logo. The ultimate goal: showing visitors the small steps they can take every day to enhance their mental health.
