Through innovative activities, the event seeks to blend tradition with modernity, allowing the younger generation to rediscover and appreciate the significance of temples. The inaugural event combines markets, workshops, and traditional performances, creating an interactive cultural experience that bridges generations.
-Immersive Cultural Experience: The event had various workshops that allow participants to experience traditional culture firsthand. For example, the "Handmade Deity Figures" workshop teaches attendees about the historical significance and crafting process of deity figures. By making these figures themselves, participants gain a deeper understanding of the symbolism behind the traditional costumes of deity processions and the aesthetic beauty of Taiwanese craftsmanship. Additionally, the drumming experience lets both adults and children feel the powerful energy of traditional festival drums, fully immersing them in the temple culture carried through the rhythm.
-Diverse Entertainment Activities: The temple courtyard was once a place where people gathered and strengthened their connections, serving as an important social hub. The design team created a multifunctional entertainment space for families to enjoy together. Beyond immersive cultural experiences, the event features a nostalgic bazaar and a temple cinema. These diverse interactive activities convey Taiwan's rich cultural heritage in a fun and engaging way, offering participants of all ages the chance to learn about culture while creating joyful memories as a family.
