NewsNation – America’s fastest growing cable news network in primetime – asked SAM to reimagine the sonic branding for its groundbreaking Sunday platform, "The Hill Sunday." On the heels of creating a sonic brand for NewsNation’s "The Hill" months earlier, SAM was eager to take "The Hill Sunday" in a new and equally engaging sonic direction that sets it apart from other Sunday news and political coverage programs.
Hosted by Chris Stirewalt, "The Hill Sunday" features politicians, newsmakers, and guest commentators discussing the latest political news from the nation’s capital. Dialing in the right sound meant embodying this political expertise while layering in a Sunday morning feel. SAM accomplished this by reimagining the sonic equity from "The Hill" with a more orchestrated sound that leans heavily into strings, giving it depth, warmth, and optimism.
The new sonic identity feels smart and engaging, while also light and eye-opening like a fresh cup of coffee – and it's right at home next to "The Hill" sonic branding. The package includes the main theme as well as variations for promos, IDs, intros, bumps and other elements.
