With the ability to perform efficiently in both extreme cold and heat—where traditional heat pumps fail—this game-changing technology had the potential to redefine sustainability, energy efficiency, and climate impact worldwide. However, to take this breakthrough to market, MTT needed a brand that embodied its agility, efficiency, and disruptive nature.
Crafting a Name That Soars: Evari
Our team was tasked with developing a name that could transcend both B2B and B2C markets while reflecting MTT’s cutting-edge innovation. The result: Evari—a name that captures the essence of efficiency, evolution, and adaptability. The name blends:
E – representing efficiency, energy, and earth-friendly impact.
Ev – signaling an evolution in technology.
Vari – emphasizing versatility and varied applications.
Evari positioned the brand as a forward-thinking, scalable force in the heating and cooling space, mirroring the agility and power of its breakthrough technology.
Visual Identity: The Hummingbird Connection
During the naming process, one concept that resonated deeply with MTT was the hummingbird—a creature known for its speed, efficiency, and agility. Like the micro turbo compressor, hummingbirds are small but mighty, capable of incredible feats despite their compact size. Inspired by this connection, we helped shape Evari’s visual identity by incorporating a hummingbird into its branding.
This symbol became a powerful representation of what made Evari’s technology unique: extreme speed, precision, and high energy efficiency in a compact form. The hummingbird icon reinforced the idea that size is no limitation, and in doing so, strengthened the brand’s ability to communicate its disruptive, next-generation impact in the market.
