In September 2024, Agency Guacamole hosted its 8th Annual B.L.N.D. (Beauty, Lifestyle and Nurturing Diversity) discussion panel, a premier industry event dedicated to fostering meaningful dialogue and networking opportunities among beauty and lifestyle professionals. The theme, Beauty’s Innovation Revolution: How Beauty, Technology and Diversity Intersect, explored the evolving role of technology in shaping diversity, equity and inclusion (DE&I) within the industry.
To ensure a high-impact event, Agency Guacamole secured influential speakers from Meta, Snapchat and Skin Dossier – with the leaders on a panel hosted by Bilal Kaiser, Agency Guacamole's Founder and Principal.
A strategic promotional campaign leveraged the agency’s extensive industry connections, engaging content across Instagram and LinkedIn and collaborations with top beauty brands committed to diversity. The event was free to attend, reinforcing accessibility for professionals, influencers and beauty enthusiasts.
The event featured a dynamic panel discussion followed by a Q&A session, fostering deep engagement among attendees. The experience was enhanced by a custom B.L.N.D. branded backdrop, a sponsored bar, catering, an interactive photo booth, a hair styling lounge and a gifting suite with products from brands including Urban Decay, Carol’s Daughter, Dermablend Professional and Matrix. Live event coverage on social media further amplified its reach.
The event drew 150 attendees with a collective reach of over 1 million followers across Instagram and TikTok, making it the largest B.L.N.D. event to date. Attendees shared over 100+ social media posts featuring speakers, activations and the interactive gifting station, where 2,300+ products were distributed. Post-event surveys revealed that 100% of attendees found the theme and speakers valuable, with many citing the panel discussion as the highlight.
Beyond its immediate success, the event reinforced Agency Guacamole’s reputation as a leader in diversity advocacy and industry thought leadership.
