U.S. Chamber CO—100 Celebrates America’s Top Small Businesse

CO— is the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s website for small businesses. We exist to provide actionable and timely information on starting, running, and growing a company to the hundreds of thousands of businesses that visit our site monthly. Since launching in 2019, CO— events have served as a connection point for our audience, providing networking opportunities, masterclass discussions, and access to business experts and entrepreneurs — from celebrity chef Marcus Samuelsson and Shark Tank’s Daymond John to founders of major brands like The Skimm and Noom and executives from the world’s largest brands, including Google, Meta, and Walmart.

In the spring of 2024, CO— launched the CO—100 to recognize the success of 100 top small businesses across the country. This year-round endeavor is a fresh take on a legacy awards program from the Chamber, overhauled to meet today’s small businesses where they are most — online — and bring them together both virtually and in real life for unforgettable experiences that propel and prepare them on their entrepreneurial journeys.

In October 2024, we convened the inaugural class of CO—100 businesses, as well as 2,000 in-person and virtual attendees, in Washington, D.C. The event included an opening reception at the Renwick Gallery, behind-the-scenes tours of the U.S. Capitol led by a former Congressman, a meet-and-greet with Olympic gold medal gymnast and entrepreneur, Dominique Dawes, masterclasses on pertinent business topics, and a half-day forum featuring interviews with executives from brands like Ethan Allen, Chopt, and SheaMoisture.

The two-day experience was capped off by a sunset reception on the U.S. Chamber rooftop overlooking the White House, followed by a gala featuring live entertainment, interviews with our distinguished class of small businesses, and the crowning of America’s Top Small Business — our top award, bestowed along with a $25,000 check.
