This project addresses the challenges of digital transformation faced by local financial institutions, blazing a trail for inclusive financial services based on Hubei Rural Credit Cooperatives’ electronic banking platform. Rooted in the context of the rural revitalization strategy, the design centers on “a streamlined and inclusive paradigm,” aiming to create a digital financial service platform that combines regional characteristics with modern relevance. By enhancing customization, branding, and intelligence, the project enables Hubei Rural Credit Cooperatives to engage its target users more effectively and precisely while offering a model that other institutions can adopt and adapt for their own digital transformations.
The project breaks away from traditional frameworks across three key dimensions: user interaction, visual design, and customized versions. For interaction, it simplifies the system architecture, organizes information more clearly, and streamlines processes to make tasks easier and faster to complete. Visually, it employs a light and airy color scheme with logical layouts to create a clean and refreshing user interface. To enhance service quality, it offers role-based customized versions that cater to the unique needs of different user groups when using personal mobile banking. Beyond technological innovation, the design integrates financial tools with human-centered care through a simple yet warm service philosophy, setting a new standard for rural digital banking experiences.
Focusing on user-centered principles, the project transforms the banking industry by replacing feature-bloated systems with precision services. Not only does it strengthen the brand differentiation and competitive edge of Hubei Rural Credit Cooperatives, but it also demonstrates the societal value of a thoughtful design in promoting financial inclusion and sustainable development.
