Skymark

As the tallest residential building in Virginia and a signature addition to Reston Town Center, Skymark required a brand identity that reflected its architectural prominence and elevated experience. Our team developed the name "Skymark" and its ascending logo to emphasize the building’s height, visibility, and panoramic views. To establish a bold skyline presence, a custom 800-square-foot illuminated sign featuring the logo was installed at the tower’s crown.
The brand expression draws from a refined visual language—metallic textures, an elegant color palette, and bespoke line art by artist Shane Murray. Vertical graphic motifs and modern typography echo the building’s soaring form and contemporary sensibility.
Clean composition, generous white space, and intentional restraint reinforce the project’s streamlined and luxurious aesthetic. The result is a cohesive brand system that elevates the resident experience while asserting Skymark as a new icon in the Northern Virginia skyline.
