About The Entry

With four decades of innovation and quality, Culp, Inc. supplies a wide range of mattress and upholstery fabrics across the globe. Culp Home Fashions, the mattress fabric division of Culp, markets its products to bedding manufacturers worldwide—including woven jacquard, knitted, converted fabrics, and sewn covers.
This experiential booth was designed to blur the line between exhibit and product. More than a display, it is a physical embodiment of the brand—where Culp’s own fabrics are not just featured, but form the architecture itself. Each structural wall becomes a canvas, transforming the booth into an immersive, tactile experience that surrounds visitors with the company’s craftsmanship.
At the core of the design lies a central conference room—an elegant, semi-private space that encourages meaningful conversations while maintaining a sense of openness. Frosted windows surround the room, providing just enough visibility to spark curiosity while offering quiet for business discussions.
The booth’s dual purpose was clear: create a striking centerpiece that draws attention from afar, while offering functionality for focused engagement. Standing nearly 19 feet tall, the structure commands presence and becomes an invitation to explore—not just the booth, but the brand itself.
The CULP logo is illuminated with deliberate spotlighting, reinforcing identity at every angle. Meanwhile, integrated lighting from above and within the walls brings the fabric samples to life, showcasing color, pattern, and texture in a way that feels both artistic and intentional.
This use of fabric within the structure sets the booth apart—transforming Culp’s materials into both form and message. It is design as storytelling, turning fabric into architecture, and a trade show booth into a brand experience.
“Many wandering eyes and lasting glances to take it all in… One customer even said it was the only thing they’d remember from the show.”
– Phillip Burger, Senior Concept Artist, Culp Home Fashions
