“Shyly Sheep: Sweetly in the Meadow – Brunch, Coffee & Wine” is a holistic brand identity project designed for a whimsical café that invites patrons to indulge in savory brunch fare, aromatic coffee, fine wine, and delightful sweets. At the heart of the concept is a shy, adorable sheep whose fluffy forelock covers its eyes—a playful nod to the cozy, carefree experience the café promises.
Set amid rolling green meadows, the main illustration features this cute sheep savoring the café’s signature dishes—omelets and apple salad—alongside coffee, wine, and sweet treats, all woven together to convey comfort, freedom, and self-enjoyment. The soft, pastel color palette and expressive line work create a warm, dreamy atmosphere that encourages customers to pause, breathe, and savor life’s simpler pleasures.
To reinforce this lighthearted pastoral vibe, two custom pattern designs incorporate sheep, coffee cups, apples, and wine glasses, extending the brand’s visual language throughout every touchpoint. These patterns appear on mock-up merchandise—such as pen pouches, tote bags, hats, and aprons—tying everything together into a cohesive brand system. Each item maintains the cute, inviting spirit of the main illustration, ensuring the café’s identity is both functional and endearing.
A core goal of the project is to offer a sense of belonging, even for those who choose to visit alone. Whether they’re stopping by for a leisurely brunch, enjoying a latte while reading a favorite book, or savoring a glass of wine at the bar, customers are encouraged to embrace a comforting pause from the everyday rush.
