This exhibition features immersive, AI-driven installations created by students exploring the intersection of emotional perception, social interaction, and digital technology. Through hands-on experimentation, interdisciplinary collaboration, and generative AI tools, students translated complex psychological and social concepts into tangible, interactive experiences.
Projects like Biolink and GLISPER exemplify how experiential design empowers students to move beyond traditional formats, crafting environments where participants feel, interact, and reflect in real time.
In Biolink, participants engage in collaborative tasks involving verbal negotiation, body movement, and digital messaging. As they interact, a Gen AI system analyzes their communication patterns in real time and transforms them into dynamic, generative visualizations resembling microbial lifeforms. These evolving visuals metaphorically represent each group's emotional synergy, trust, and empathy, turning social dynamics into living digital artifacts. Biolink demonstrates how Gen AI can be more than analytical—it can serve as a creative partner in making the invisible aspects of human connection visible and experiential.
GLISPER tackles the psychological concept of “beauty shame,” where individuals fear judgment despite feeling confident in their appearance. Through an AI-driven fashion runway experience, the system analyzes participants’ outfits and physiological responses (like heart rate), then generates both critical audio feedback and a personalized magazine cover. This generative output reflects not just style, but the emotional weight of social perception. GLISPER highlights how generative AI can amplify self-reflection, allowing users to see themselves through aesthetic and emotional lenses.
Both works position generative AI as a co-creator, translating human interaction, emotion, and identity into immersive, personalized visual forms. Rather than using AI for automation alone, these projects leverage its generative power to spark dialogue, evoke empathy, and reshape how we experience ourselves and others in a digital age.
