ChildAid is an annual charity concert supporting The Straits Times School Pocket Money Fund (ST SPMF) and The Business Times Budding Artist Fund (BT BAF), providing financial aid and arts opportunities for underprivileged children. To mark ChildAid's 20th anniversary, we were commissioned to create a commemorative tribute video that both celebrates its journey and highlights its impact. The video serves a dual role: as a powerful storytelling piece that honors the legacy of ChildAid and as an emotive showcase of the lives it has touched.
The 45s teaser and 4 minute film we produced:
- Told the story of ChildAid's purpose and mission, spotlighting how it has supported ST SPMF and BT BAF over the past 2 decades
- Highlighted the beneficiaries whose lives were transformed, reinforcing the concert's deeper meaning beyond performance.
Honoured alumni performers and key figures - from Nathan Hartono and Amni Musfirah, to legendary contributors such as the late Iskandar Ismail, Lim Sek, Dick Lee, and Jeremy Monteiro.
- Blended archival footage, performance clips, shot footage, and interviews to weave a narrative that is both nostalgic and forward-looking.
The video premiered during the ChildAid 20th Anniversary Concert in November 2024, setting the emotional tone of the event. By capturing the voices, faces, and stories of ChildAid's community, it paid tribute not only to the performers and creators but also to the donors and audiences who have supported its mission.
