2025 Dapeng Bay Marine Festival

Since its first launch in 2010, the Dapeng Bay Marine Festival has become one of the largest sailing events in Taiwan, attracting a large number of sailing enthusiasts and tourists. The event aims to promote sailing and marine culture and promote local tourism development.
The 2025 Dapeng Bay Marine Festival was held at the Dapeng Bay Marina in Donggang Township, Pingtung County. This year’s event featured a collaboration with the popular Taiwanese IP “Fumeancats”, incorporating themed photo spots, large-scale art installations of Fumeancats, and a lively “Meow-Meow Food Truck Market” that drew crowds to participate, photograph, and share their experiences.
Throughout the festival, a diverse program of activities celebrated the joy of the sea, including a Sailing Carnival, Canoe Fun Race, Yacht Tours, and local gourmet and craft markets showcasing the flavors and creativity of Pingtung. Emphasizing the principle of low-carbon and sustainable tourism, the event encouraged eco-friendly participation and appreciation of marine ecology.
In addition, the festival introduced family-friendly and marine adventure itineraries, such as cycling excursions, farm and fishery experiences, and lake cruises guided by local interpreters. Together, these activities highlighted Pingtung’s rich coastal charm and fostered deeper connections between people, the ocean, and the environment.
