About The Entry

Professional Photographers of America, or PPA, is one of the oldest non-profits in the world, created in 1868 as a beacon and advocate for professional photographers and the photography industry. PPA offers photographers a host of essential resources, including insurance programs, contract guidance and thousands of educational resources. In 2025, PPA realized the need to enhance its educational offerings to reach the next generation of photographers and creatives at every stage of their artistic journey, and thus, PhotoVision on PPA.com was born.
A curated streaming platform that boasts thousands of videos and tutorials, PhotoVision on PPA.com needed a visual identity that positioned it as the next iteration of PPA’s vast educational offerings. PPA, an Atlanta-based organization, tapped Trevelino-Keller, one of Atlanta’s premier boutique agencies, to bring the vision to life through a unique, modern brand identity.
Trevelino/Keller’s creative team blended retro photography aesthetics with a fresh, vibrant color palette to create a brand identity that appeals to a younger generation of artists embarking on their creative path. Branding elements that echo the look of film strips and flash bulbs lend themselves to a range of creative applications, from web experiences to social media to tradeshow booth graphics. The bright color palette, with complementary hues of light pinks, blues and greens, works alongside PPA’s legacy red to help the brand stand out while remaining true to its roots.
With the brand and platform launching in November 2025, Trevelino/Keller and PPA worked against an accelerated timeline, starting in September 2025, to develop this distinctive brand that would introduce PhotoVision and PPA itself to a new audience hungry for creative instruction.
