The Audi Design Platform 2025 redefined the traditional automotive exhibition by transforming the Western concept of a “garage” into a curated living environment across four major Chinese cities. From June to October 2025, the Audi Design Platform traveled to Shanghai, Shenzhen, Beijing and Hangzhou.
Rather than presenting vehicles as static display objects, the platform positioned the Audi A5L, Q6L e-tron and Q6L Sportback e-tron as integral elements of contemporary lifestyle. The booth design blurred the boundaries between showroom, gallery and living space, creating an immersive spatial narrative that reframed the automobile as a design icon within everyday culture.
Each city installation was conceived as an adaptable yet consistent modular environment, translating the core architectural language into site-specific experiences. The design combined refined materiality, minimalist spatial zoning and carefully orchestrated lighting to create an atmosphere of modern domesticity. Functional “garage” elements were reinterpreted through a premium lens: shelving became curated display architecture, tool aesthetics evolved into sculptural details, and parking space transformed into a stage for lifestyle storytelling.
The result was a traveling experiential platform that operated not as a booth, but as a living design manifesto. Visitors did not simply view vehicles, they stepped into a world where mobility, architecture and lifestyle converged.
Across its four-city journey, the Audi Design Platform 2025 demonstrated how booth design can evolve beyond product presentation into cultural positioning, transforming exhibition space into a dynamic brand habitat.
