Wanshan Ancient Pottery originates from the Doumu Ancient Pot-tery Intangible Cultural Heritage Inheritance Base in Doumu Township, Qianshan City, Anhui Province, carrying the millenni-al heritage of pottery making and local craftsmanship. The brand logo design focuses on the simple charm of ancient pot-tery and its intangible cultural heritage genes, reconstructing the brand's visual language through the dialogue between tradi-tion and modernity.
The main pattern is derived from the contour lines of the clas-sic shapes of Doumu Ancient Pottery, refined and reconstructed geometrically to form a simple yet layered shape: reminiscent of the soft contours of freshly molded clay, yet also the sta-ble form of a completed vessel, restoring the original texture of 'shaping clay into a vessel,' while giving it a light rhythm through modern design language.
The color palette uses a rustic brown symbolizing the accumula-tion of time and the richness of clay as the main color, paired with calm neutral tones and vermilion seal-style symbols, echo-ing the natural texture of ancient pottery and incorporating the Eastern concept of 'seal impression,' conveying the authen-ticity of intangible heritage and the brand's craftsmanship. The overall design is not a simple reproduction, but uses de-sign as a medium to revitalize the cultural genes of millennia-old pottery in a contemporary context, making Wanshan Ancient Pottery a cultural carrier connecting the past and the future, local traditions, and the world.
