Last year, the US was hit by 4 hurricanes and millions of families were affected, to help the victims, we created OneArc, a holistic solution for disaster relief. People rely on standard emergency services ? such as the 911 and firefighters in a disaster, it?s a closed system. When the disaster actually happens, the emergency responders are swamped. Many people just can?t get immediate help. Our solution creates an open disaster relief system. We gather user?s requests, with their locations and share this information not only with the organizations but also with people nearby. With this application, users can report Incidents around them and send out an SOS Help request. We also provide a community feature where people ask for supplies or offer supplies to others. Instead of a single direction of a help request, we just expanded the emergency response circle to thousands of more people and enabled more assistance from a community level. <br><br>
