About The Entry

After developing a campaign rooted in what makes Lyra different, we kept coming back to one idea: quality.
But quality is easy to claim—and difficult to differentiate. So we pushed the idea further. If a mental health benefit is truly delivering quality care, employers should be able to prove the impact it’s having on their people and their business.
That insight became the foundation for The Proof Report, a cornerstone content asset designed to turn an abstract brand promise into a timely industry conversation. Working with Lyra, we designed and fielded original research among HR and benefits leaders to understand how organizations measure the impact of their mental health benefits, where they struggle, and what separates those that can confidently demonstrate value from those that can’t. We then synthesized the findings, developed the narrative and created an approachable, visually compelling report that transformed a complex dataset into a clear story and practical guidance.
The research surfaced a significant gap: while benefits leaders were relatively comfortable demonstrating employee experience, confidence dropped dramatically when it came to proving financial and business impact. More than half struggled to clearly demonstrate the impact of their mental health benefits, and only 12.4% were most confident in their ability to demonstrate financial impact. Rather than simply expose the problem, The Proof Report showed what organizations with stronger proof do differently—from establishing baselines and standardized metrics to aligning HR and Finance—and gave benefits leaders a practical path toward greater confidence.
The research also revealed a finding that reinforced Lyra’s differentiation: organizations using an integrated mental health platform were 2X more likely to feel confident demonstrating impact. That made the report something more powerful than a product pitch. Instead of asking audiences to take Lyra's claims about quality at face value, we created independent research that helped define what quality should look like—and gave benefits leaders a framework for proving it themselves.
Because when it comes to mental health benefits, quality shouldn't just be promised. It should hold up.
