About The Entry

Held twice a year, White Paper Season is an experimental campus exhibition that showcases student creativity while connecting the college with the wider community.
“White paper” serves as both a metaphor and a reminder. Students are encouraged not to define themselves too early, but to return to an unfinished blank page each semester—to reset, reflect, and rewrite their creative identities.
The visual identity uses generous white space and UV printing to create a tactile surface. Hidden “paths” appear through touch and from different viewing angles, suggesting that the future has no single direction and must be shaped through exploration and action. The words “white,” “what,” and “why” express the exhibition’s experimental spirit, while the repeated “WWWWW” graphic references online laughter, adding playfulness to the design. Each student display panel is reusable and can be folded and stored like a calendar, supporting a more sustainable exhibition model.
Rather than presenting only course outcomes, the exhibition places each student at its center. Through a “one student, one space” format, participants curate their semester-long learning journey, creative development, and individual identity. This process builds confidence and prepares them for creative markets, artist fairs, design exhibitions, and content licensing events.
Works may also be sold, encouraging students to communicate, promote, and connect their ideas with real audiences. In the long term, White Paper Season aims to become a recurring program tradition and an open platform that welcomes local creators, strengthens community exchange, and turns student creativity into tangible cultural and social impact.
