Clarity was selected to redesign and develop the new Chicago Cook Workforce Partnership (The Partnership) website on the WordPress content management system platform.
The Chicago Cook Workforce Partnership is an umbrella organization operating the public workforce system in the City of Chicago and Cook County. The Partnership combines federal and philanthropic resources to broaden the reach and impact of workforce development services for both employers and job seekers. The Partnership was formed in 2012 and is the largest workforce development system in the nation, serving 132 municipalities and administering more than $200 million in federal and philanthropic funds. Its website’s primary audience includes job seekers and businesses throughout Cook County, as well as internal content administrators.
The aim of the project was to launch an innovative, engaging, informative and mobile-responsive website. A key goal was to ensure that individuals looking for jobs via the website could easily find and apply for positions using The Partnership’s existing career center portal. Clarity also implemented an interactive map and geolocation technology to help website visitors find one of 53 workforce agencies in the county.
In addition to website design and development, Clarity is providing hosting services with WPEngine.
