After 23 years, Lembaga Sukan Sabah (Malay for "Sabah Sports Board), a sports agency owned by Sabah state government relaunches to focus on health and wellbeing, continuously engaging, supporting and helping athletes to maximise their performances in sports and life. The new logo was created with the combination of brand initials, fire torch, Mount Kinabalu and Sabah's 6 pillars of foundation which are sustainability, integrity, dynamic, strength, excellence and community, to express its core value of "The Mark of Sport Excellence". The colour palette is adapted from the local element to reflect Sabahan's spirit, attitude and personality. With the new identity, the aims are to constantly inspire the locals to live up with their spirits and never give up.
