This packaging is an exclusive, limited edition created by Casa Ramos Pinto to commemorate the work of the nationally and internationally acclaimed oenologist, Joao Nicolau de Almeida, with the company.
As a way to acknowledge his dedication, the brand created a special batch of a 40-year-old tawny Port, alluding to the number of years that Joao Nicolau de Almeida was in charge of making the Ramos Pinto wines.
The Portuguese advertising agency designed and produced this premium packaging, in wood and cardboard, for a total of 320 numbered bottles. It also created a special label for this edition, which has silkscreen details on the wood, using the image of the man whose work is being celebrated.
