After the social outbreak of October 2019 in the city of Santiago de Chile, the independent media "Prensa Callejera" has played an important role in society, creatively informing citizens of events both in the country and in the world. In the context of the pandemic, the challenge was to establish a position as a means in order to carry out a peaceful protest with everything that is happening in terms of decisions of some presidents at the health and economic level and the consequences that this has implied in certain populations.
Since the beginning of this catastrophic pandemic, some world leaders have not followed the recommendations of the W.H.O., putting the lives of citizens at stake. The "Crosses" campaign aimed to raise awareness of the seriousness of the situation worldwide, denouncing the large number of deaths that reveal the consequences of prioritizing an economic model over health. The stars on the flags of these countries were changed to crosses, exposing the bad decisions taken by world leaders exposing citizens to the rapid spread of the virus without taking into account the most relevant aspects on which health authorities have focused, social isolation as a primary measure to minimize cases of contagion.
