Roche is an information solutions company currently launching software that has the potential to transform oncology care. NAVIFY Oncology Hub is a clinical workflow and decision support solution that is designed to comprehensively enhance patient care by resolving the ongoing issues that oncologists and their care teams encounter with current electronic medical record programs. We were tasked with creating a product video to generate awareness for the upcoming launch and explain the varied benefits of the product for healthcare professionals. Additionally, it was important to demonstrate the ability of NAVIFY Oncology Hub to capture a holistic view of a patient’s health journey from diagnosis to remission and beyond.
The product video tells a unique story centered on the experience of oncology care, rather than the technical features of the program. Specifically, it puts the viewer in the shoes of an oncologist, detailing the frustrations within the current paradigms of patient care. Then, it shifts visually and narratively to a brighter future in oncology: where care is patient-centered like never before. One of the biggest challenges of the animation was visualizing the abstract concepts that both stand in oncologists’ way and the solutions that are poised to enable better care. The solution is found in the branding elements of Roche’s NAVIFY portfolio. The color and playful lines of NAVIFY form into shapes, tangled webs, and a linear patient pathway to capture disorganized systems, data aggregation, information organization, and the overarching patient journey. The motion and liveliness of the visual storytelling nods to the forward-thinking and streamlined nature of the NAVIFY Oncology Hub decision support software. Outside of the data story, the interaction between the doctor and the patient shows an authentic partnership. This partnership symbolizes shared decision-making, an aspect of oncology care that experts acknowledge as crucial to patient outcomes and an important feature in the future of oncology care.
The product video has contributed to a successful launch and a significant level of engagement for Roche, all with the goal of improving oncology practices and care around the US.
