Five years in the making, the new Welcome Center at Warner Bros. Studio Tour Hollywood is an entirely new expansion to the Tour, giving fans all-new ways to go behind the scenes of movie-making magic. Featuring a brand new arrival space and a show-stopping interactive finale, the Welcome Center completely reshapes the guest experience and has become a landmark addition to the already world-class Warner Bros. Studio Tour.
Guests begin their journey in the Storytelling Showcase, which introduces them to the studio’s illustrious history through media, archival images, and rarely-seen artifacts. Here, guests enjoy a preshow film in state-of-the-art theaters before embarking on Warner Bros.’ signature backlot tour.
After the tour, guests return to the Welcome Center for an exciting finale experience featuring two of the most IPs: the DC Universe and the Wizarding World.
The heroes of DC Comics are celebrated in an immersive Batcave, where a digital WatchTower Database interactive gives guests an opportunity to deep dive into their favorite characters. Wonder Woman, Superman, Aquaman, and Batman each have their own dedicated areas populated with authentic props, costumes, and photo ops. Nearby, an enormous 15’x35’ media window gives a glimpse out into the further reaches of the cave with custom content created exclusively for the Tour.
Guests are then ushered into The Wizarding World, where dazzling immersive sets from the film are recreated to help guests feel like they're in the Herbology Classroom, stepping out of Newt's suitcase, or getting sorted by the Sorting Hat. Members of the Wizarding World website can even hear their true Hogwarts house called out as the hat is placed above their heads.
The room dedicated to Fantastic Beasts allows guests to step into a recreation of Newt’s shed, where media windows showing the beasts in their environments are augmented with physical effects. Before guests leave, they can celebrate their Tour experience by holding a real Oscar statuette on the red carpet for a picture-perfect send-off. A cinematic media montage combines the goodbye moments from a vast array of Warner Bros. films to bid guests farewell as they exit.
